It is with deep sadness that I inform you that Six Three Group Associate Captain, Enrico Sammartino, passed away yesterday March 18, 2013.

My father touched many lives and brought many men to Malvern over the pass 41 years. I decided to go with him in 1990. It did not take long to realize why my father loved Malvern so much, it is a special place with beautiful grounds and buildings but, it was the “‘Men of Malvern” that my father loved the most.

He was an honest, God-Loving man who was intensely dedicated to being the best person he could be. He was devoted to his wife and kids as well as the people around him. Always had a smile on his face no matter how bad things were. He taught me the value of life, how to be dedicated in all I do. And that you don’t get anything unless you work for it. You will always be in my heart and I thank you for the gifts of life you gave to me. You will be deeply missed by many. I know you will walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but alway by our side. Love you always.
