A Christmas Tune for Sandy Hook Elementary

A Christmas Tune for Sandy Hook

by Joe McAvoy (Germany Hill)

I wrote this song on 12-12-12 (originally inspired by the notion of keeping Christ in Christmas). However, the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary in CT on Friday inspired me to use this song in homage to the children who lost their lives.

Joe, I love your inspirational song. Too often in the fast pace of the Christmas season we forget what the true meaning of Christmas is, and the stores are only interested in how much we spend. Blessings to you for this beautiful song. I’m spreading it around out here in Oklahoma and of course all the states where my family is scattered. I liked the pictures too.
    Love, Gladys Thomas
