Revised Weekend Schedule for 2016
As you may know, 7 years ago in an attempt to improve the overall men’s weekend retreat experience, the Board of Directors selected Dr. Joseph Capista and the Six Three Group to serve as a Pilot Group to investigate and moderate various aspects of the weekend retreat. Over this time period we have seen the introduction of guest speakers as well as a variety of subtle program and schedule changes in our weekend retreat. This year we will continue the process and introduce a change in format that we feel is best communicated in advance. Below you will find a link to our new weekend retreat schedule for 2016. One significant change is that we plan experience the retreat with a single retreat master, Fr. Joseph Corley. Fr. Corley will deliver retreat conferences in the Upper McShain meeting room. This will leave the Our Lady’s and St. Joesph’s Chapels open (and quite) so that retreatants my use them for private silent reflect.
Recruiters are encouraged to get familiar with the new schedule so that they may answer any questions presented by their recruits and other retreatants.

Passing of Joseph F. O’Donnell
It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the passing Joe O’Donnell in the early hours of January 4, 2015. As soon as we have further details regarding services for Joe we will make them available here.

Joe’s viewing will be at O’Leary’s Funeral Home on Springfield Rd. near Holy Cross Church on Friday evening January 9, 2015 beginning at 6pm. The funeral mass will be at St. Kevin’s Church in Springfield at 12:30 on Saturday January 10, 2015. Joe’s obituary will be referenced here as soon as it is made available.
Pete Fantacone Awarded Inisgnia of Chevalier

Please join us in congratulating fellow SixThree man Peter Fantacone, Sr. who was named a “Chevalier” of the Legion of Honor; the highest distinction bestowed on U.S. soldiers who fought at Normandy, Provence/Southern France or Northern France.

A Reminder to Keep Christ In Christmas
You may recall a couple years ago when a fellow Six Three Man, Joe McAvoy , wrote and recorded a spiritually inspired Christmas tune to remind us to keep Christ in Christmas. Joe circulated his work around the internet to help raise money for the families of victims involved in the Sandy Hook shooting in New England.
We thought it would be nice to repost Joe’s song to remind us again of the true meaning of Christmas.

Gary Zimak is an Catholic Evangelist, Author, Radio Host and popular Catholic speaker. Gary is a regular guest on EWTN and hosts his own show Following The Truth on BlogTalkRadio Monday – Friday at 8PM Eastern.

Gary’s Story
In 2008, Gary Zimak was working as a project analyst when he felt the call to form Following The Truth, an apostolate dedicated to teaching the truths of the Catholic Faith. Initially performing his work for the Lord on a part time basis, Gary had a life changing experience in 2011 when he consecrated his life to Jesus through Mary. A few months later, he became a FULL TIME Catholic lay evangelist!
Using a combination of radio, writing, social media and live talks, Gary puts his communications skills to work for the Lord and His Church. The author of the best-selling book “A Worrier’s Guide To The Bible”, Gary is well known as an authority on the art of combating anxiety by establishing a deeper relationship with Christ. His second book “Listen To Your Blessed Mother” focuses on Mary’s words in Sacred Scripture and is receiving a great deal of attention. Gary hosts a daily radio show on BlogTalkRadio and is a regular guest on Catholic Answers Live, EWTN’s The Son Rise Morning Show and Catholic Connection with Teresa Tomeo and Relevant Radio’s Morning Air. We are pleased to announce that our 93nd Annual SixThree Spiritual Retreat at Malvern is scheduled for June 13-14-15, 2014.
Our goal this year is to continue to incrementally improve the spiritual quality of the SixThree retreat experience and begin a trend of growing the number of annual retreatants for years to come. This year we are planning an exciting retreat which includes:
